ClevGuard offers a protective shell, soft and discreet, weighing little more than an extra breath yet soothing the soul with the conviction that all these movements are hidden, known, kept protectively to oneself. A careful hand weaves in the threads prisons and electronic surveillance seem to lay bare, a wary coat enveloping the unsuspecting digital self it watches over. ClevGuard dips into the digital space with the promise of "real-time protection," "stealthy detection," and "user empowerment." Like most privacy applications, ClevGuard claims that it will protect users from any unwanted surveillance while monitoring their devices, network connections, applications, and even behaviour with international travel. There is subtle steel in such perceptions of security.
